Accept payment when a client books, either in full or as a deposit. Paid bookings use your connected Stripe account.

1. Connect Stripe

Connect a Stripe account that is ready to accept charges. Once Stripe confirms the account can take payments, you can offer paid booking types.

A connection that is still under review cannot collect booking payments yet.

2. Choose how clients pay

Open the booking type you want to charge for, then choose full payment or a deposit.

Full payment collects the complete price during booking. A deposit collects the amount you set during booking, leaving the remaining balance to handle separately.

3. Set the payment terms

Add the price, currency, and refund policy for the booking type. If your refund policy includes a time window, set how long clients have to qualify.

These terms tell Aventide what to charge when a client reserves a time.

4. Publish the booking type

Publish the booking type after confirming its schedule, payment terms, and Stripe connection.

The booking type becomes available on your booking page. When a client chooses a time, payment is collected as part of the booking process.
