What Smart Compliance does

Smart Compliance keeps track of the paperwork that keeps your business legal: annual reports, business licenses, permits, and insurance policies. Upload a document once, and Aventide reads it, figures out what it is and when it expires, and sets a reminder before it lapses.

Smart Compliance is a document tracker and storage tool, not legal, tax, or accounting advice. Aventide isn't a law firm. Due dates are estimates based on general state rules, so always confirm them with your state agency or a qualified professional.

How it works

  1. Upload your documents. Drop in your annual report, business license, permits, or insurance policy. Aventide reads each file to identify the document type, the state or jurisdiction it belongs to, and its expiration date.
  2. Aventide tracks the deadlines. Once a document is classified, its renewal date gets a reminder on your planner automatically, timed to give you a heads-up before it's due.
  3. Confirm or correct the details. If Aventide gets a date or document type wrong, you can edit it directly so your reminders stay accurate.
  4. Get reminded before you're at risk. As a due date approaches, the reminder shows up in your planner like any other task, so renewals never quietly expire.

What it won't do

Smart Compliance tracks the dates on what you upload and give you the federal and state deadlines for your business type. It doesn't file anything for you, and it doesn't replace checking with the actual agency: always confirm dates and fees before you file, and check your city's requirements for local licenses too.
